Trekkers Checklist

What you’d need to bring on this adventure:

  • A keen interest in the outdoors and a spirit for adventure (most important);

  • A good travel bag, a hardcore hiking bag is not necessary as your stuff will be carried by horse;

  • A comfortable day back pack to carry your day stuff, such as camera, warm top, sunblock, water bottle;

  • A decent sleeping bag (down is best and lightest);

  • Hiking boots;

  • If you haven’t worn your boots in then some blister strap plasters are recommended;

  • Good hiking kit: 2 pairs pants, 2 shirts, wide brimmed hat, 2 pairs good socks;

  • A warm duffel jacket is recommended along with a beanie and scarf for evenings and early mornings;

  • Sunglasses;

  • Sunblock;

  • Toiletries;

  • Some basic painkillers (optional but may come in handy);

  • Broad based script of anti-biotics  (from your doctor);

  • Mosquito Repellent (natural stuff is best for the outdoors);

  • Fly rod, if you are an avid fisherman, we have some basic fishing equipment.  A few spoons, lures hooks and sinkers are always welcomed as equimement is very difficult to source out there;
